Solomon began to reign over Israel in 2 Chronicles Chapter 1. He immediately went to the high place where the tabernacle was located then, and offered up 1000 sacrifices. That is a lot of blood! That same night God “appeared to him” and asked him what he wanted. God was giving him the right to ask for anything in the universe, because the sacrifices pleased Him. Solomon humbly asked for wisdom to rule over the people, which pleased God so…..
The answer to every problem you have is answered in how Jesus overcame the devil: “IT IS WRITTEN!” (Matthew 4:4). Neighbor problems? Do unto others. Marriage problems? Woman, yield to him as to God. Child problems? Don’t spare the rod or spoil the child. It’s not always easy, but you can find a scripture that fits, but only if you know the Word!
Put your money where your mouth is= Put your heart into your words= Put God’s Words into your mouth and speak them out. Whatever is in your heart will come out and create through your words. So be careful, little mouth what you say. Make sure your words agree with God’s will, then have at it. Your focus will be legit, and God will get on it!
When a hog pond flips, the stench will make you mouth breathe. It happens when very warm pond water gets hit with some cool clean air or rainwater on top, and this causes the water in the pond to flip. There are gasses and stinky stuff in the bottom and when it comes to the top quickly, pee-yew! So be the world right now. The stink and poo are mostly hid, but are about to be exposed. Lord, have mercy…..
Some people walk in darkness. You can see it on their faces. No hope, no joy, just anger and resentment. Let’s please have mercy on them, because on our worst day, we walk in a light and hope that is shown on our faces, and hopefully in our lives. He is the “light of the world,” and without Him, there is only chaos, confusion, lawlessness, and hopelessness. (John 11:9 & 10)
We are seeing: denying God exists, lying, cheating, stealing, destruction of property, adultery, murder, and the love of money and self, more than the love of truth or integrity. Sounds like the wiles of the devil to me. Seems we need to be thinking more about who we vote for, and where we go to church… REPENTANCE is a very, very powerful word…
