The equation for faith means you have to do some work. “Faith comes by hearing the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). If you need faith, hear, hear, and hear some more. This means reading your Bible until you hear God speak to you through His Word. It also means hearing the Word at church, and on YouTube, and in the music that you listen to, and in the friends that you hang out with. If you think that you won’t have to sacrifice to get faith, think again. The blessings and power of God don’t come to lazy, uninterested people. God is not stupid, nor does He reward those who do NOT diligently seek Him! “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4). Pretty good stuff: eternal rewards! Let’s do it!
