There is coming a day where worship of the Lord will be mandated. That means if you do not come to Jerusalem to worship the Lord God and His King, the Lord of Hosts, you will not have rain in your land. That means you will not have provision, food, or livelihood. Not only will that happen, but there will be a sickness come upon these people who do not want to worship Him. Zechariah was given these words by the Lord which he shares in Zechariah 14:16 & 17. We take far too lightly our relationship with the Lord. There will come a “Day of the Lord” when it will be too late to change. So today, “Turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart (tear it apart), and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness (Joel 2:12, 13).
