Your mind is like a blackboard. You write things on it that are important and that you need to keep you organized, and on track for the day. You might also write who has misbehaved that day with a check mark behind their name. What’s bad about a blackboard, is that it gets very messy-looking if you get too much stuff written on it, and then when you try to erase it, it gets smeared with the mirky chalk dust. You have to go outside and knock the erasers together, or get wet paper towels to wipe it clean. Our mind is the same; we don’t need a bunch of memories of offenses, evil occurrences, worry, or personal failures clogging up the blackboard of our mind. Choose by an act of your will to loose those bothering bits of meaningless thought from your mind, that are brought by the enemy. Your blackboard will be clean and ready for a brand new day! Jesus said, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19, KJV).
