Think for a minute on the resurrection. This is our hope and our joy! We are absolutely, completely assured that when we pass away, (and almost all humans will, until the rapture), we will be taken to Heaven and be with the LORD for eternity. This is a powerful tool we can use to convince others to seek the LORD Jesus. Only through Him can we be clean enough and holy enough to enjoy the eternal bliss of Heaven. The assurance of this and the peace it brings is a powerful argument for Christ. He was the first to be resurrected, and opens the door for us by living a sinless, perfectly obedient life. Jesus receive Glory! Paul stated in Acts 24:21, when standing before Felix the Governor stated: “The true issue in my trial before you today is the resurrection of the dead.” How comforting it is to be able to tell people that when they die, they can go to Heaven. This is the resurrection. Receive Jesus, and get a free ticket into Heaven. Wow!
