There are times when God will ask you to do impossible things, and in fact, when God asks you to do something, it will take His supernatural power upon you to get it done. Jesus stated, “Without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). If God asks you to go to a person you can’t stand and apologize for something that was their fault, just do it. If He asks you to learn a foreign language, or go back to school in your 60’s, just do it. Here is some advice from my experience: sometimes, I have to ask God to cause me to do it. Some things seem so hard in the flesh, that you need to cry out for help. I don’t know how many times I have asked, “God, cause me to do it.” King David did the same as he shares in Psalm 119:32 & 40. Verse 32 states: “I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.” Verse 40 states: “Quicken me in thy righteousness.” In these verses, God cause me is translated as: “quicken me” or “enlarge my heart.” That means that we are totally dependent on God to help us get the job done.
