If you truly love the LORD, your heart is probably grieved by most of the things you see on television. There are great rays of hope, but most of the news is “bad news,” where the name of the LORD is obscured in order to not be offensive to those who don’t believe. Wowsers! Let’s remember that we need to pray without ceasing for the LORD to open eyes and change hearts so that when these unbelievers stand before the LORD, they don’t have to say that they didn’t believe in His Son. However, there are times when we must just “hold our peace.” Jesus when standing before Pilate and others refused to answer their questions, but just ‘held His peace.’ That means that He reined in his tongue, which would liked to give them the truth, but would have been a waste of breath and emotion as He was interrogated before His crucifixion. We are living in a time when we had better check our lips into the Wisdom of God hotel before we speak. Put your ears down deep inside you, to hear what the Father is giving Holy Spirit. Jesus was constantly listening to Holy Spirit for every word He spoke. John 12:49 KJV) states: “For I have not spoken; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.” Until you know how to answer naysayers, just hold your peace!
