It takes a lot of faith to take down a giant. David did it. He killed Goliath with one stone and a slingshot because he believed and spoke it beforehand. Joshua fought them, and so did Sibbechai who slew one of the sons of the giants 1 Chronicles 20:4). The Bible clearly states where the giants come from, and they were not nice or cute, but evil partially human beings (read about it in Genesis 6). Everyone has giants in their life. They aren’t yet the kind that the Israelites fought, but they are roadblocks or stumbling blocks that the devil has put in our paths. They need to be removed in order for God to prevail in our lives, or we will always be slaves to them. How do we get the kind of faith in God to cast them out of our lives? David had already used his faith to kill a bear and a lion when out protecting his father’s sheep. He wasn’t daunted by Goliath. He decided to defend the LORD’S people and he spoke what he was going to do before he went out. Hmmm. Comprende?
