The enemy of your soul wants to keep you in the dark. He wants to hide what he is doing so that his evil doings will not come to the light of truth which will expose and demolish it. If you don’t want to fall for his deceptions, what do you do? You have to put out effort to find the light of truth, and then keep seeking truth until the day you close your eyes forever. Deception: “fraud, double-dealing, subterfuge, trickery means the acts or practices of one who deliberately deceives” (Merriam-Webster.com/dictionary). The devil deliberately deceives those whose eyes are closed to the truth by reason of stress, busyness, ignorance, laziness, false instruction, or misdirection by those looked up to, or revered. We are all deceived especially if we think we are not. The only remedy is Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. His Words are truth, so to the best of your ability, seek His Words. Be humble, lowly, teachable, flexible, always asking the LORD God for wisdom so that you can maneuver around as much of the devil’s trash as possible. Pray that spiritual eyes will be opened by the LORD so that others may come into the LIGHT!
