No matter what the devil does, don’t talk about it. This takes great spiritual concentration, but we are the “disciplined ones” or disciples. Even though he is very active, now more than ever, we do not want to call attention to his acts or behavior, but throw dirt on them with our words of truth and victory. Yes, evil needs to be exposed, and evil deeds punished, but don’t dwell on them, or magnify them, but instead, minimize the evil and magnify the Lord more and more. When satan slings his stuff, begin to sing a song to the Lord. A little, “la la la” will do more good than all the railing about how bad things are getting could ever do. When someone needs to vent, sing “la la la” to yourself and “praise the Lord” to keep the heat out of your own soul. Pray for them and the situation, then just thank Jesus over and over for what He has done for us. Psalm 66:8 will do nicely, “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together” (KJV).
