Are we really made in God’s image? If the Bible is true, and we were made in God’s image, we need to find out what that means. Do we look like God? Do we think like God? Do we act like God? How can we know? Hebrews 1: 3 tells us that Jesus is, “the brightness of His glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (KJV). Whoopee! We can look at Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and see God, in whose image we were created. This is what we are supposed to look like and act like, since Jesus made the way for us to come back to our Father, and live like Adam and Eve did in the beginning, even though sin reigns all around us, it can’t touch us! Check it out! “Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27, KJV).
