Jesus personalizes everything. He doesn’t want us to be concerned with what someone else gets or has, because He will supply everything we need, and take us where we need to go. In John 21:18-23, Peter is told by Jesus how his death will come in the future. Peter looked towards John and asked Jesus how John would end his life. Jesus simply says, “Don’t worry about John, you just make sure that you keep following Me.” In other words, another person’s journey and relationship with the Lord is the Lord’s business and not yours. We cannot determine another person’s life path, but only keep to the one we have been personally given, and pray for the others, that they will stay on the path of faith. Our journeys can only be taken with Jesus alone, and there are times when we just have to mind our own business, and let God be God in their lives. Walk carefully!
