When hearing the LORD’s voice, you can’t use your own understanding, because your brain is in the material world, not the spiritual. (Proverbs 3:5&6) You have to simply trust that when you ask God to speak to you, He will. It is up to you to listen intently inside where Holy Spirit abides. Hint: He may speak at night in your dreams!
