When we pray the Lord’s Prayer carefully, we see that Jesus prayed, “Keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil.” We are to ask the Lord to keep us out of trouble, and keep us from doing or saying bad things. When evil is planned against you by puppets of the devil on this earth, do what Hezekiah, a good king did. He prayed to God about an evil king who was coming against him, “Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only” (Isaiah 37:20, KJV). The Lord responded to this prayer through Isaiah the Prophet and directed this to the evil king, “I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest” (verse 29). Then God adds, “I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake” (verse 35), and finally, the angel of the Lord came and slew 185,000 soldiers in one night (verse 36). Yes, angels can kill, but only at the Lord’s command. It pays to be on the Lord’s side!!
