There are no time outs with the devil. Since he is a spirit, he doesn’t have to rest like we do, and can stay up all night plotting against us, using his human cohorts. When you are tired, pray and declare God’s Word. When you are sick, do the same. When you are depressed, worship and pray. When you are working, pray! You can’t afford a vacation from the devil, and he won’t listen to the umpire when time-outs are called in the middle of the game. He kicks below the belt, and lies and cheats constantly. We can overcome him, by using the Blood of Jesus and the Word of God against him (Revelation 12:11). But this also takes dying to your own desires and needs, which cause your feelings to be hurt. True faith has no feelings. Press on, and you will be rewarded, if you don’t lose heart! (Galatians 6:9)
