Why not do some spring cleaning in your mind? The Lord’s thoughts and ways are so much higher than our thoughts or ways, (Isaiah 55:9), that sometimes we just need to take a Brillo pad and scrub some stuff out of our brains. We need to “rearrange the furniture” of our minds and lives to agree with and conform to what the Lord wants and knows. After all, He is the only one who knows the absolute truth, and He knows the end of every matter on earth. All those things that you supposed would happen, and you supposed you would do are pretty meaningless in the depth of the mind of Christ, so let ’em go! Take out the trash! Clean out the refrigerator today, and ask the Lord to fill your thoughts with His wisdom, knowledge, and the eternal and absolute truth of His Word!
