The LORD is searching for His sheep. Sheep are actually men and women that have a heart to follow the LORD. He sees their hearts and wants the men and women of God to go find them. They are out in the world, lost and alone, without a shepherd to show them the way. The wolves and coyotes are tearing at them, but because of ignorance, they don’t know how to get rid of them, so they stand without protection. If you listen, God will show you where His sheep are. You might come across one in a gas station, a homeless shelter, a church pew, a taxi cab, in your own home, or in a castle. Sometimes the sheep bleat and curse because they don’t know who they are. Sometimes they smell bad because they have been in a muddy, cooped-up pen. Sometimes they are all dolled up and smell very sweet, but their hearts are desolate and black. Pay no attention to the condition of these sheep, but be led by His Spirit to gather them into His Bosom. Ezekiel 34:11, “For thus saith the LORD GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out” (KJV). “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand” (John 10:27-29, KJV). Keep your eyes open for the sheep. Then GO!
