Unrelenting is defined in Wordnik as: “Having or exhibiting uncompromising determination: unyielding. Not diminishing in intensity pace or effort: not becoming lenient, mild, gentle, or merciful: continuing to be hard, severe, pitiless, hostile, or cold, inexorable; unyielding.” Inexorable itself means: “impossible to stop, alter, or resist, inevitable; not capable of being persuaded by entreaty or prayer.” These definitions in Wordnik.com describe exactly how we are to war against God’s enemies in the spiritual world. Paul describes it also in Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places” (KJV). We are up against some big stuff, and need to rise up early, and be very strong. “Lord, give us warring spirits so that we may continue to fight, and grow much more powerful in YOU!”
