Watch flocks of sheep on YouTube, or on the internet. Notice how they are guided by a shepherd. The LORD uses this imagery much in His words to show us how our relationship with Him should be. Sheep are trusting, meek, peaceful, and very dependent animals. Copycat them. Ezekiel 34:11, KJV, says: “For thus saith the LORD God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.” Verses 15-16 state that God will feed us, and cause us to lie down in rest, He will find His lost sheep, bind up the broken sheep (spiritually and physically), and bring back those little sheep that have been driven away. Have you been hurt in life? Maybe by those in the church, or by those who hate the church of the Living God because they do not understand Him or believe that He is the ultimate truth? Don’t worry little flock, just gather around your Shepherd, let Him gently lead and guide you to the greener pastures, and the quiet and deep and refreshing waters.
